How Scoring Works
At the 2026 Bay Street Games, we use a placement-based scoring system through Competition Corner, one of the most common formats in competitive fitness events.
Here’s how it works: in each workout, your team is ranked against every other team. If you finish 1st, you receive 1 point. If you finish 10th, you receive 10 points.
At the end of the competition, the team with the lowest overall score takes the win.
Your score is calculated as:
Total Points = Sum of Rankings from Workouts 1 – 4 + (0.25 × Fund Points Ranking)
In this example:
Team Alpha: 1 + 2 + 3 + 2 + (0.25 × 1) = 25
Team Bravo: 2 + 1 + 2 + 3 + (0.25 × 3) = 75
Team Charlie: 3 + 3 + 1 + 1 + (0.25 × 2) = 50
Since the lowest total score wins, Team Alpha would finish in 1st place overall.
All four workouts are weighted equally toward your final standings. Fundraising Points will count as a 5thscoring category with a smaller weighting (0.25x), helping strengthen your team’s overall standing while also serving as an important tiebreaker in close competition.
Every dollar raised supports an incredible cause and can help your team climb the leaderboard, so keep fundraising, rally your networks, and bring the energy both on and off the competition floor!
